I've had the distinct honor of being asked to design jewelry for the book Rainy Day People, which combines a wonderful road trip with spirituality, a love of nature, and the growth of a relationship between two people who have, like all of us, been hurt in the past. Now, I'm offering the book and the jewelry together.

The simple Sterling Silver necklace and earrings set with 4mm Swarovski crystals represents the rainbow - a beautiful, positive sign that appears in the book. The crystals are handwrapped to the necklace so that they don't fall off as they move. The necklace is 16" long, and the earring dangles are about 1 1/4" long. Wear the necklace and earrings together or separately. Either way, you'll always have a rainbow!

Susan Haley's Rainy Day People is a rich story that kept me constantly involved. It is a story about life: the highs and the lows; the promises and dreams that are cherished and sometimes lost. In Rainy Day People, Amber has learned that a perfect life can change in the blink of an eye. She knows that she must keep going, keep living.
