Firey, dichroic art glass cabochons are surrounded by shimmering chatons and navettes in a multitude of sizes in rich ruby red and amber - and a sprinkling of ruby red with an aurora borealis finish. Depending on the light, and the angle of your gaze, you'll see reds, pinks, oranges, and golds in the art glass. A small ruby red chaton flower with a large amber center can be found at 5:00 on the lower right of the brooch, and a larger pinwheel flower with ruby red navettes and a smaller amber center is located on a wire-over at 9:00. The excess plating showing on the front of the wire-over flower is rough, and so not as shiny as the rest of the plating. This is from manufacture. The dichroic design of the earring cabs does not go all the way to the bottom at some points, but again, I believe this is from manufacture.
A brooch in this design with this color combination is shown in Katerina Musetti's wonderful book The Art of Juliana Jewelry. A set in this design, but in different colors, is shown on page 63 of the book. If you don't have this book, order it at Amazon now! The brooch is 2 1/8" across, and its layered design rises to a height of 1/2". The earrings are 1 3/16" long. Fabulous!
