Sarah Coventry  |  Earrings

Misty Dew Drop is one of the very first designs offered by Sarah Coventry. Pretty ruffled cup flowers with three layers of enameled petals with shiny gold edges and aqua rhinestone centers. 11/16" in diameter. Unsigned, but listed in 1949 documentation.

Beautifully detailed open metalwork earrings are 1 1/2" long.

Modern design with swirling metalwork and 1/2" long faceted glass stones. Each lever-clip earring is about 1 1/8" tall.

Each lily-like bell flower is 1 1/4" long. These are from the 50s and unsigned, but I have a cardex card identifying them as Monastery Bells. There are a few small areas on the bracelet and one earring where the glue shows. Thanks to Sandy and Shirley for advising me that this design was introduced in the early '50s as Singing Bells.

Mosaic is one of the few designs Sarah Coventry made for both men and women. It is EXTREMELY RARE to find the buttons, and it is rare to find the full Mosaic set. Each clip earring is 7/8" in diameter, as is each cuff link and the stick pin. The pendant is 1" in diameter, while each button is 5/8" and the tie tac is 3/8". The buttons are on their original card, which states, "Hand painted glass buttons crafted exclusively for Sarah Coventry in West Germany." Mosaic always reminds me of old churches and stained glass windows. This is a great set for the collector.

Pretty little cameo earrings are handcarved and handframed, so no two are alike. About 5/8" long. Two sets in stock: one box is hinged; the other has a lift-off lid. Let me know if you prefer one or the other when you order.

Pretty earrings with white enamel centers on fluted goldtone frames. About 5/16" in diameter. I believe the posts and clutches are surgical steel, but I'm not sure. One of the earrings has an EXTRA SPOT OF ENAMEL on the goldtone. This is from manufacture. This is the only pair of "Pair Ups" I've seen, but my guess is that this is a common manufacturing "flaw" for the design.

Fun and pretty large plastic crystals with lots of motion on "pierced look" lever clips. Each plastic bicone crystal is more than 1/2" long. Longest dangle is about 1 1/4" long.

Big! flower heads are 1 1/2" across. The baroque pearl buttons are framed with wirework, and the loveley stem of the pin is done in brushed and shiny metal. As is common with this set, the pearls move SLIGHTLY and have light scratching. The pin is 3" long!
